In the summer of 2024, Furka Radio returned to In:dépendance residency, this time as an extended radio family. Over the course of seven days, we built up a mobile radio booth and streamed live for 64-hours non-stop. The first three days were spent preparing the house's ground-floor area and the surrounding landscape to create space for the booth and a small chill-out zone. With a new stone floor in place and the sleek DJ booth set up, we balanced hard work with occasional dips in the lake and visits to the sauna.

The 64-hour broadcast was a whirlwind of activity, featuring an extensive program of music shows, interviews, field recordings, international guest mixes and call-in shows. The intensity of working around the clock, including overnight shifts, brought the seven Furka Radio residents closer together. We shared not only responsibilities but also meals, laughter, and music, while involving fellow co-residents in the project. Our return to In:dépendance allowed us to build on a project that originated at Furka in 2023, adding new dimensions to its ongoing evolution. What began as a two-person initiative has now grown into an international platform for music and conversation, curated with dedication and care.
